2 things pop to mind..... first is Z-vex Box of Rock. This pedal has become a staple for me. It has a very nice clean boost up front..... adds something, but something very nice for my ears. I hardly ever plug in without it. Another great thing this one has going for it is an overdrive-distortion section that does a great Marshall sound. Very versatile and nice sonic qualities.

Second would be a Voodoo Labs Sparkle Drive. Not really a booster, but lets you add however much clean signal you wish to a slightly overdriven sound....... very nice! My 2 cents worth!

I don't have one now but the Seymour Duncan pickup booster was a great clean boost pedal!! - there's good demos of it on the tube and second hand prices are low

Not forgetting the Boss Fender bassman pedal, the clean channel on most Marshalls just dont "breath" but this pedal adds that Fender spank, sparkle and sensitivity.
