My silo's pickups are getting a little yellow on the white parts... is there a good way of cleaning this? I was thinking about using a little bit of bleach and some towel to wipe away the stain..

Jagged - Recent laboratory tests on the yellowing of plastic guitar parts have have resulted in a Scientifically proven Analysis.

What you are experiencing on your pick-ups is phenomena called "MOJO".

Certain Mass Market Guitar factories with bases in USA, Mexico and recently Korea have sucessfully found a way of cloning such MOJO, at the expense of the hapless public.

It is to be treated with the upmost care and respect, and should be left well alone.

Hehe - just a bit of fun - for what it's worth Jagged I'd stay WELL away from your lovely MM with that bleach.
It's not a stain, just part of the ageing process, and I doubt if you'll get it off. You'll come to love it!!!;)

+1 for sure on the phenomena called "Mojo".

ever seen a pic of SRV's #1, Clapton's Blackie, Roy Buchanan's Nancy, that gee-tar that Hendrix flamed back in '67, etc .... even my Super Sport after its first gig?

LOL Ricman!

I doubt bleach will do anything but dry out the plastic. I have a silo with yellowing white parts, and I like the look. But the HB at the bridge retained a pure whiteness. I thought of replacing the yellow parts to match the bucker, but I can't bring myself to do it.

But, if your silo is SSS, it would be easy to just order new knobs and p'up covers. They're not expensive, and you can get them directly from CS.
