Thats because they're generally artsie scenesters...I frankly don't know how some bands fit into that save for the ticket sales aspect. If that festival was out here...they'd hold it in Brooklyn, live there and wear members only jackets and womens jeans...

It should be a ggod festival this year. Rumor mill has it that Rage Against the Machine is reuniting for a one time show.

Rage is planning a full tour this year but they're starting with the Coahella gig. (Buddy of mine is quoting as an equipment provider for the tour so I've been hearing some good stories for a while.)

Beejer....that's AWESOME. Good times considering that annnouncement on AudioSlave yesterday. I can't say that I didn't see that coming for lightyears. The stuff they did to me sounded contrived....Cornell's not the same as the Cornell I loved from Soundgarden...and the Rage guys were raring to go socio-political again...hopefully they do a new album of some kickass jams...

Totally agree- I love Cornell but never really got into Audioslave. The break up / Rage thing has apparently been in the works for a long time and I'm looking forward to seeing if Rage can kick it like they used to.

My buddy worked on Audioslave so I'm hoping he gets the Rage gig as well ... always fun getting invited to the parties
