Coated string question

Do the coated strings have more tension on them then regular slinky's if tuned to standard with both?

there aren't any playing tension differences if between coated and uncoated sets.

The tension seems the same to me ... that's one of the reasons I love the EB coated. The tension and feel in similar to non-coated strings. Can't say the same for the Elixir coated ... for some reason those have a stiff tension. Not good for bending.
