Cobalts + old Sterling = New Sound

So I got my first pair of cobalt's this Monday and right away I put them on my sterling HS. I play through an Ampeg SVT with a 6x10 cab. Let me first say that this bass has the been the best I have ever owned and I thought it could not sound better. I have used lots of different strings before, but never really heard any giant leaps in the sounds. When I hit that first note with the cobalt strings I thought I was playing a new bass. The sound was even more crisp and clear than ever before. I run my amp flat so I really like that fat crisp sound and man these strings nail it like never before. I really feel like these strings make my bass sound like it was designed to sound like.

I want to send a great big thanks to whole the company for finding a way to make an incredible bass sound even better. Also everyone should go out and buy a pair of these immediately.
