Color question

I'm going to buy a MM stingray soon and I was wondering does anyone have a picture of the color black cherry burst. They dont have a picture of it here and i cant seem to find it on the net. And I cant tell if it's black cherry burst or vintage sunburst. I want the one that looks like it has a red halo around the shell.

I've seen one black cherry bust that a customer ordered.
If memory serves correct (usually, not always!), it was a dark red, non metallic burst, the black seemed to start in earlier than a standard burst.

picture that, a little darker and non metallic...

that's my best attempt to describe it, it was very nice though, if you like the red on it, i would highly recommend it..

The actual color of mine is Burnt Apple, it's discontinued as of last year i believe, you might be able to find one used or hit your local GC and have them dig through their system.

I've seen a few used on the bay but most were obnoxiously high because they wanted to call it a limited edition color..

it's a great color really.

they want like 1200 bucks for it, but thats normal price for one.

contact them, but also do the Guitar Center route, if they have once, chances are is super cheap because it's discontinued, and they blow it out (ex: i got my burnt apple with case for 640 plus tax)

and you will have an extremely hard time finding one with a matching headstock....

but if you aren't picky about the headstock, theres a few on the bay right now that you could easily snag.

were in the same boat man. i want a blue dawn with a matching headstock and a maple neck. blue dawn is discontinued. this sucks. someone needs to talk to eb about this attrocity.
