Is there a chance autumn redburst or burnt apple will be rereleased as an LE like blue dawn? Just curious. If so, I need to start saving now...

You never know, there was a very heavy presense lobbying for Blue Dawn for a very long time.

BP and company, was the rerelease of Blue Dawn profitible enough for warrant the rerelease of another or newer sparkle finish in the future?

You understand the whole reason why the sparkles aren't available right?

I doubt you'll see another rehashing of any colours like that.
EBMM is about moving forward. They're not really into rehashing the past.

OT; speaking of moving forward. Any whispers or ideas on the 2010 LE model?

I know it's too soon, but I always love a nice surprise. :)

It's worth noting that the LEs are not necessarily an ongoing thing. It's not an "official" program as far as I know.

If they decide to do it, they do it. There isn't an 09 LE, right?

I kind of like that strategy, myself. It makes the LEs that much more special when they do come out.

Also, if past years are any indication, nothing happens on the planning front until well into the fourth quarter and we NEVER get to see what it's going to be until winter NAMM.

I know, I get it. They didn't do an 09 LE becasuse they presented the 25th Anniversary guitar for this year. Like you said, it's a special thing. I just love the surprises EBMM throws our way and i was just jumping the gun a little bit. :)

I understand the reason they don't do sparkles on a regular basis. I was more curious than anything. I have an AR silo already, but a rerelease would mean I could get exactly the one I want since none were actually made that way. I wouldnt call it a rehashing, it's more like revisiting an old friend...

To each his own, but personally I admire the natural beauty of the wood grain enhanced by color and a glossy finish.

All I can say is...you never know what Pops and the crew may put out. They keep us Knucks on our toes and that is a good thing.

That's the cool thing about BP and the crew...these limited run pieces and colors that have been discontinued only makes us want to see what else they have cooking. You know it's going to be killer...and done right!

I just like to lay back and watch the new stuff come to the surface...and if I miss out...I know there will be something else that comes along that will blow me away...like the new colors....Sterling Silver JP anyone? (Yes Scott..I know you're getting one :D)

I wouldn't put it like that. Green and purple didn't sell in the past either, but now those are two of the main colors on the BFRs. They'll do any color over if they think it will sell. It's not a matter of rehashing this or that.
