Lou, you certainly got some wild birdseye on the Pearl Redburst. I kind of figured that would be the first JP to go that day (it came in the day before, too!). Lava Pearl is cool, and the Desert Gold smacks you in the face and screams "look at me!" almost as loudly as the Medallion Gold.

J-Nick, know of (ahem.....) 6 Buttercreams for sale.

However, er indoors has spoken (and I am partial to er indoors and her choice anyway).
So, will publically say.

CARBON BLUE PEARL

hear that Pete? Sorry mate, but will stop "dithering" now, promise

Yeah, I hear that! I think I've got 3 different flavors of JPs in CBP, I'll check when I head to the store in an hour. I didn't realize I had so many of the same 2 colors (CBP and PRB) until they came out of the cases.

Lou, Pete had a Lava Pearl Bongo there. It was the first time I had seen the color up close and personal. I liked, not really orangey, kind of a cross between red and orange.

Glenn, that's a Sterling in Lava Pearl. I have a Bongo here in Medallion Gold.

Carbon Blue. Love it on the LUke and would order it on a JP7 to match.

Yeah, I saw that one. If there was a JP there in that color, I might have snagged it instead. It's definitely not as in your face as the Desert Gold.

Well, post over basically (should make Pete happy LOL).
Gonna go with Carbon Blue Pearl.

BTW, Pete, did you check on it? (without inlays).

I think the buttercream looks damn classy on the Petrucci... those guitars have a lot of nice lines and I think the buttercream compliments it well.

I'm not so hot on the matching headstock option though... I'm more of a natural guy myself.

But don't listen to us knuckleheads. Go with your heart.
