The first was recorded with my Luke I and the Line6 Pod XTL
second take was played on my Luke II with same settings.

Can you hear the difference?

enjoy ;)

Luke 1s sound has more sustain and gain were i think the luke2 sounds louder with a cleaner less compressed vibe but it s hard to really tell coz of the video mic
i love both guitars prbably because i have the same !!!
nice playing too dude

On the humbucker, there should be no real difference as they are the same p/u IIRC. The sngle coils were changed going from 1 to 2 though. I still think the shape suits a Floyd Rose better, but the Wilkinson is far nicer to use.

Thanks much guys for your time and comments !

yep... it's very hard to hear the difference 'cause the video mic. But the Luke 1 has more brighter tone ;)

I love both and be happy with them :)

guitars never sound exactly the same. I had two II luke last year and they sounded the same range, but different on certain points.

so, of course the I & II would sound different, due to details (electronics, bridge) but you could play a II really better than your I, or another I really better than your I...

it all depends from the wood...that's why I think guitars - and all wooden instruments -are really alive.

it was the radiance red I guess a loan from HTD for the demo tour ...

the rad red was ordered by HTD for me, it was my first endorsment guitar so it was very special to me...it sounded really bigger than my luke blue, but I just could not get used to it...that's very strange. sometimes it happens, guitars are alive. so it came back to HTD, and now I think it was a really good choice, cause I really strat to go in the HH thing...I miss the wonderful axis that I had for the tour...I think I'll order one !
