Compensated Nut for older SR5's?

Hey guys, I was just wondering if its possible to get one of the newer compensated nuts for my SR5 that has the older style nut? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks a bunch.

I've wondered this myself. Would be a cool thing to do.

The compensated nut will not fit in the slot that the old style nut sits in. EB/MM doesn't do retrofits, and I bleeb the nut is propietary and would only be sold as a direct replacement, much like a neck or body. A call or email to customer service would give you the answer.

Oh there's no way i'd alter my trans red or buttercream. They play too damn good to do anything to them. I just thought it was a cool idea.
