Question Compensated nut on Luke II neck?

I'm pretty sure this has been asked before... but I couldn't find the answer...

I would like to change the traditional nut of my Luke II neck, for an EBMM compensated nut (for reasons...).

• Have any of you done this before?
• I discovered you may order the replacement part from EBMM in the US, but they won't mail it to Europe. Any ideas from my fellow European knuckleheads, how to get one here?
• In case the before is not possible, is there anybody out there who would send me one from the US (all expenses reimbursed, of course)?

The front edge of the compensated nut is closer to the 1st fret than a standard nut. It is also wider than the standard nut. You would have to permanently modify the fretboard of the guitar for it to work right. I’m not aware of any form member who has ever done so.

My experience with the same question, but with the Axis Sport. Short answer, there was no practical advantage in trying to fit a compensated nut where there wasn't one previously.
