Help! Compensated Nut Questions

Hi guys!

I've just recieved a compensated nut replacement for my SR5. The new nut seems to be much more slimmer that the one I have atm. Did EBMM do some changes with compensated nut since 2009? I fear there will be plenty space after reinstall.

I have a spare compensated nut from EBMM and they are different...I'm not sure if this is across the board, but obviously each nut would probably be altered by EBMM as part of the setup.

I just realized that the nuts I recieved is more likely a compensated nut for 7 string guitar! xD The CS is currently sorting the things out) 7 thin saw cuts, slimmer nut... I feel like
