thx man. they are good people, work their a$$es off, and deserve all the good luck they are making for themselves. theyve really knocked it out of the park on this new record we are halfway through too. unfortunately, and im not even sure they know this, but now comes the part where they are TOO popular, and america will go after them with a vengance trying to knock them back down again. not sure why its like that, but ive been in this game long enough to know with 100% certainty, thats what comes next. probably starting tomorrow morning in the blogosphere hahah.

"the hang" means: a good camaraderie, or an easy going group of people to hang out with, with no haters, or baby mamma drama, ya digg?

Great news! Always great to hear that an award goes out to people who love their work and deserve the honour. Congratulations to the band and to you, Craig!

I caught the news on my way in to work. Lady A beat out Eminem... that's very cool. Also that a high-profile knucklehead was part of their success.

What I like about it is that actual music played by real musicians still means something. (Not that Eminem isn't very talented, but, well... is there even an actual band involved in much of what he does?)

I was also thrilled to hear that Esperanza Spalding, a jazz musician (and bassist!) beat out the latest pop teen throb for new artist.

I just know they showed up Tim McGraw pretty darn good when they opened for him over here last year. Loved it!

Although I took it personally that Hillary didn't respond to my FB friend request (LOL, just kidding of course). They are a talented trio for sure, and have great stage presence and energy. It ices the cake for me that you sir laid down that phat bottom for them!

Congrats Craig!!! It's amazing to see all the success this terrific trio is having. Hopefully America will let them be and allow them to continue to do what they do best without the inevitable social/ media thrashing that may be forthcoming. Enjoy this man!!!

Awesome job Craig. I really enjoy the bass on that album. The tone is awesome, so full and round. I know you are using Markbass stuff now, but are you running your studio stuff through an LA-2A? Just has a great smoothness to it.

So which one is a "Grammy Award Winning" Instrument? The Big Al (Bongowood?) or Gamechanger? Inquireing minds want to know ;)

I think it's a "Top Secret", but I'm curious too!

Anyway, what's the Title of this Awarded album, I would like to get one?
