I know I'm probably not telling most of you anything new at all, but playing around with the wah this morning I stumbled into a tone that I thought for the longest time was attributed to a specialized line of gear.

I always thought Boston's guitar tones were mosty due to Toms Scholz's Rockman gear, but the cocked wah and channel 3 vintage (marshally tone) on the roadster can really get you in the ballpark. I'm having a blast playing some old Boston this morning...

Shame I have to break up the party to go to a wedding...

Very cool Fred!

I've found something interesting as well.
I have a piece of junk Marshall modelling amp which the distortion on it is absolutely terrible.
Well, if I leave the Wah on with the pedal all the way down, the tone is awesome!!!
It's like a booster!
