Yes folks it's the weekend again and time for us to assist another two sets of newly wed idiots celebrate their loss of freedom.

Anyone got an exciting gig this weekend?

Drive safely, play well, don't drink too much before you've finished playin' and see you back here again after the long holiday weekend.

not this week-end but I'm doing a couple of duo gigs opening up for the author Adrian Plass in a couple of weeks, quite a funny guy, should be fun nights.
Have a blessed time with the requests of the mother of the bride this week-end and here's to hoping for not too many beer barrel polkas!:D

We seem to be slowing down. We have a wedding next weekend (our first.....we can't figure out why they want us :) ), and a gig the week after that at the bar our guitar player recently bought (how's that for always having a place to play??).

After that, nothing booked till September, but I'm sure that will change, as the guitarist is who usually books, and he's been all tied up with his new bar for the past month.

Previously, it was about 3 weekends a month, either fri or sat, with an occasional practice thrown in if we find new songs we want to learn.
