Counterfeit certainly. To be stopped....I guess so.
To my mind slightly less criminal than the guys who are selling headstock decals , whose only real purpose is to enable people to fake entire guitars and con unsuspecting buyers.
Still a trademark is a trademark.
EBay has brought us whole new areas of nastiness.......I notice that there are lots of people selling off the free straps and owners manual packs taken from certain new guitars. At least EBMM hasn't fallen foul of the wholesale "parting out" idea.
Power to you Mr WonderDog

E-Bay Counterfeit listing removed

E-Bay has finally removed the counterfiet sticker listings!
I am happy to report this despite NorM's needling

Here is their e-mail to me.

Dear Wonderdog,

Thank you for writing eBay in regard to your notice of claimed
infringement.

The listings you reported are being removed by eBay. Please allow
approximately 30 minutes for the removal process to be completed. In
addition, we will notify the seller and all participating bidders that
the listings have been removed at your request.

If you need further assistance, please don't hesitate to reply to this
email and let us know.

Sincerely,
Nola

Ha.

I have a great Underdog T-Shirt...it rules.

In Boston they've got that saying: "Manny being Manny"

Here I guess it's "Norm being Norm"

Ideas and thoughts on how to respond:

This is just too good

1. Apologize for responding on such a sensitive topic.
2. Start a new login as Kellog's Corn Flake and say something like, "I don't see what the big deal is."
ServeImage.aspx

3. Take a picture of the one I bought.
4. Relist the one I bought on ebay.

Nah, I'll just leave it alone
