Couple of questions about Axis.

I've been interested in getting an Axis, and have a couple of questions.

Can I order right from the company, or do I have to go through a dealer.
How much would I have to put down.
Can I have the guitar setup a half a step down with 10's.
I would like to get a premium top, so if it takes many months that will be fine.
How much (estimate) would it cost.

How stable is the tremolo (does it change pitch much when you stretch a string) right now I have a floating trem and it sucks (I know that the Axis does not)

I've been reading a ton of posts on this forum, and I know that quality will be top notch

Here ars ome answers:

You have to go thru a dealer.

Any custom set-up has to be done after you receive the guitar, it leaves the factory according to factory specs.

You can get a premium top, but I on't know how much it costs of if it takes longer to build. Search the forum, I believe you will find that answer in past posts.

The trem usually sits flush with the body and you can only de-tune the strings with the Axis trem.

A local guitar center has a amber quilt for $1200.00 I thought about getting that one, but I want to get a 5150 combo first (plus I'm thinking if I spend that kind of money on a guitar, I would like to choose a color plus a kick butt top
