Hehe :D - thanks Keith. I'll pass that on to Diane. Yeah...I've been away for a while. No funds for new toys, and work hasn't been a fun place to be lately. I miss the gang here...

Not sure I'd want a 'cow guitar'...but it was funny to see, especially for a guy who lives in the land of Ben & Jerry's. :)

We aren't planning on making more of those. It was kind of a one-off thing.

Hi All!
Creating the Rubes Cow Guitar (aka "Moosic Man") was great fun. I enjoyed working with the folks at Ernie Ball very much. For anyone interested in obtaining a Rubes Cow guitar (or even another "critter" of you choice) please feel free to email me at [email protected]. Though the two Rubes Cow guitars which were created with Ernie Ball were for a special project I still offer custom Rubes art on your guitar or the guitar or your choice.
Cheers!

Yeah...I wouldn't be in line either. I was just wondering if there was a story behind it...

Sure thing, Glen!

There was a fun write up in a newspaper about the Cow Guitar's debut. Here it is:
Moosic-Man cow guitar to make debut at World Dairy Expo - The Country Today: Front Page

I don't have any other EBMM instruments but would be happy to paint more as it was such a fun experience! Just recently a Rubes cow fan in Kansas sent me his guitar and I did a custom cow on it. It turned out very nicely and he was quite pleased!

Cheers!

Holy crap! I just did a little more looking at the Rubes Cartoons site and realized that I've seen (and chuckled at) a ton of those cartoons over the years. The guitar just became cooler! :D

Thanks, Mike!
I see my post (see above) made it onto the board. It's a fun story!

By the way, if anybody happens to be in Madison, Wisconsin during Oct.1-5 I will have the guitar on display at the Rubes Cartoons booth at the World Dairy Expo ( http://www.worlddairyexpo.com/) which is open to the public. You are welcome to come by the booth and play it.
Cheers!

Wow Leigh you did the cow painting yourself? Very cool, did EBMM send you the blank body so you could do the painting?

Yes, Glen. EB provided me with two blank bodies. I own the Moosic Man #1 and they own the Moosic Man #2. It's in the Ernie Ball vault...(That's because it's priceless of course!)
Cheers!

Leigh, very cool, I've actually been in the vault a very long time ago when they had the Open House. Are both guitar exactly the same?
