Go for it, my wife always forgives me, but she nevers forgets. She will be bring up my MM90 purchase in about 10 years when I have done something wrong.

Fretboard wood?
Hardtail or trem?

the one I really want if I can find it is the rosewood neck, with sienna burst (not sure its kinda like a reddish burst, but there is one on ebay right now, but with an amp included)....hardtail.. HSS thats the one I want, if I can find it...... I see one now, but its a trem...I figure I could probably have someone put in a tremblock if I needed..... does anyone have this guitar?.....lol... :)

I saw that one this morning. It's a trans cherry burst if I'm not mistaken with an ash body. Looks pretty nice. I noticed the rosewood board too... ;)

You could do what I do when I want to buy something expensive that my wife doesn't see as important. I go buy her some jewelry first, then I buy myself whatever(usually a guitar or amp) and she never says a word. In fact, she usually asks me what guitar I'm buying next whenever she gets something nice.

Everybody keeps asking me, " when are you going to get married". It's things like this that make me say, "not for a while yet". :p I consult with myself when I want a new axe , and 100% of the time the answer is yes. :D I'm waiting for my first EBMM to arrive and probably wont get married until I get a couple more. Sorry to rub it in to all you "happily" married guys.

I must be lucky, my fiance, who lives with me, loves when I get a new EBMM. In fact, I wait for her to be there for the case opening so she can share in the first glance of another beautiful EBMM.
