I must be lucky, my fiance, who lives with me, loves when I get a new EBMM. In fact, I wait for her to be there for the case opening so she can share in the first glance of another beautiful EBMM.

Wait til you say "I DO" and she becomes your wife. Things will change. You'll be selling guitars to pay for a new kitchen. :D

Not true in every case. I have 14 or so guitars, and get no crap from my wife when I buy them

My question is how many of the 14 did you have before you said I do? The other thought is, as long as you are purchasing EBMM she knows there is job security.

My stab at humor.

dare i say it .... i think im tired of having a lot of gear! Ive always loved the idea of having "the guitar" (or bass) and i that my gear whore tendencies have been an expensive search for the elusive "#1" ... i dont think ive found that yet for guitars but i definately have for bass (my blue dawn Sterling) ...

so maybe im gonna start ditching a lot of my stuff. im definately keeping my EB basses ... anything else is probably gonna be fair game soon.

If i find the right silo, that would probably be the only guitar I would need, besides an accoustic/electric...I know know which one I want , its just waiting till it comes up somewhere....that redburst is a trem, on the bay so I should probably wait for a hardtail and get what I really want......my trem on my strat when I bend notes drops the pictch on my other strings, I like to do some chicken pickin and I feel you need a hardtail to do that stuff......yeehaw

Get a piezo then you'll only need one guitar!
Unless of course you want to play lying in a hammock or something!

I'm thinking about pickin up a Silo, just bought a axis p-90 last week and now I'm thinking about unloading my Strat for a silo.....I'm currently eyeballing one and if they dude comes back with the right price I may be living in the garage for a tad....

someone's got to do it....

neastguy, at least if you're going to be living in the garage you picked the right time of year for it. Get a nice portable air conditioner to roll in there and no sweat!

ah..I started to clean that puppy up...bought new knobs for it and its looking pretty good now, all I have to do now is tighten up the neck a little and adj the string height and I might actually start to play it again..I like the shorter scale...I'll probably die with it..I'll post a pic when its done: before and after :D

dunno if you remeber that kramer I had, sold it on the bay for $450, I bought that back in the early 90's for $100, not bad...thats how I funded my new used axis..

Hot doesn't begin to describe it. With the sun beating down on the concrete walks the temps were up there around 100 or so. I had a side bet going with our sound tech as to which band member would pass out first. Still, was a good weekend. Good crowds there.

hey whats the name of that Teck at Sodja? was it Tony? I think I need to call him, I want him to finish setting up my LP and look at my strat, actually maybe look at all of my guitars...LOL.... does he let you sit there and watch him while he sets it up (maybe I can learn a little)? how long does it take him to do a guitar, from your experience with him, and finally..lol...is he generally booked up big time?

thanks
