im pretty sure it would be the same as from anywhere outside the UK (excluding europe). but it all depends on the goods , there are a vast amount of different tax rates, plus then you have your VAT if applicable (which more than likely it will be). I think Spud maybe able to help on this one as he is in that game.

Yup - add on 20% - that will cover Vat and import duty.
Don't forget if the value of the guitar is £800 and the postage is £200, you will pay 20% on the total of £1000.

that what ive paid for my MMJP6 but thought that Australia gonna be different. As far as i can remeber it was 3.6% import duty plus 15% tax and i cant remeber if there wasnt something else on top.
