My new StingRay has this neck plate on it...

That was part of a small run we did for Guitar Center. The color is what makes it different. The color is called "Hot Rod Red".

That's so cool or should I say hot? Thanks for the info on that. Would you happen to have the breakdown on this color?

BTW, I think you are the guy I ordered the black perloid picguard for my blue Sterling.

I'll post pics of it as soon as I get my camera set up. I tried taking pics with my phone but they didn't come out. The base plate one is the only one that worked and that's standing directly underneath the light.
