Well, just painted my old one.
I wanted to buy a tort one, so I figured I could abuse this one, since it's warped;
Turned out to be great. Should I consider a tort one any longer?
And how do I save the paint from my nails, any tips?

If you only want to look at one pic, ^^this one up here is the best.
Btw, it's sprayed with an 'almost empty-spraycan'

You could probably put a few layers of clearcoat on it...but would guess in time that it would wear thru as well.

Dude, you should just use that. It's almost "classic" like a tortoise shell but totally unique. Put some layers of clearcoat on it.

I really like the look of that. I've been thinking of getting a new pickguard for my SUB Sterling, but I don't know what will look good with the black finish. Did you just spray gold paint over a black pickguard or were there other steps involved?

Indeed, I just did that. But the spraycan was empty, so only now and then there were paint-drops falling from it. If you would use a full one, I guess it's more fine-spray you get.

Thx for the comments. I really like it too.
