I am always interested in the Music man Cutlass basses either Stingrays or Sabres (Cutlass 1 or Cutlass II models) As I know it only 800 were made but the necks are pretty messed up you have to have most all of them planed and new frets in the areas they need them...if anyone knows where there are any for sale please contact me.

I also am interested in finding an original Inca Silver Stingray with a maple neck.

I have played these basses almost my entire adult life...I have a very special place in my heart for the Music Man bass...thank you Leo for creating them and thank you Big Poppa Sterling for keeping the bass alive and refining them to the outstanding bass they are today!

Music Man Sting Ray (Cutlass I) - on eBay (Switzerland)

Checked that one out yesterday afternoon. Unfortunately it's in pretty bad shape. The pickguard is a non-fitting newer one, the electronics are modified. The frets are in very bad condition, the neck has too much relief, and it sits way too low in the body. I just contacted the original owner to get more info on that instrument.

Yo Dave, glad to see you finally joined the board. You know I am always on the watch for those basses for you.
