Apparently, Santa thought both me and my nine-year old were VERY good this year ;)

Mine is the LEFTY on the RIGHT, for those that need a clue... if you recall a previous thread I started, this axe is the infamous 'lost Sterling' that should've been in my hands in November until UPS decided to send it on a sight-seeing tour of the USA first. It showed up the week before the Holiday Child's big Birthday... and YES mine does have a fuzzy strap and a skeleton puffing on the headstock.

BTW, soon as my daughter's arms outgrow the short-scale Daisy Rock, I promise to convert her to the First Church of Big Poppa. After seeing the smile on her dad's face every time he reaches for his MM, it shouldn't take much convincing.

Sorry to eat up bandwidth, but had to brag on these new arrivalw, esp. mine, of course!

Congrats to both you and your daughter!I bought my 8 year old son a $qu1er Mini-Strat for an early Christmas present at the GC labor day sale when I bought my new SR4.He's coming along quite well. Being double jointed he's having a easier time with his fretting hand than I did when I started.......

Well, even if they were open, why do you think yours arriving earlier makes UPS have more delivery people and trucks than they normally do? I've never known UPS drivers to "knock off early," and I'm sure there are plenty of packages that were scheduled for delivery for Tuesday already. Are you more important than the people whose packages were in the system before yours?

What's your problem dude? I was stating about UPS, and how they loose things and such....If you take the time to go to the beginning of this string, you will read that UPS lost his bass for a bit.

And in answer to your question, yes. This was a two day, priority shipment that has now taken 6days including today. I would expect it tomorrow, (instead of weds) as they have it scheduled for. I realize the holidays and sunday arn't delivery days, but, as usual, UPS droped the ball.

And to answer your question about arriving early, UPS will deliver if a package is ahead of schedual. They don't like "two day priorty" packages sitting in their bins.
