Hey Jack, are we still on for Saturday? I got my Bongo t-shirt yesterday and it's ready to go.

We are indeed, sir. Ray Duke wants to go, too, and Andy (Gangster Of Love) is coming up from Houston so I think we are officially a gang.

Or a gaggle. Or a herd or something.

Ray lives over here by me, so we'll probably head out together. Don't know what time Andy's going to be here, so I'll give him my cellphone number and we can group up at the venue.

Come to think of it, that's probably the easiest way for us to hook up, too. Ray's a native of the area so he won't let me get lost.

Jack foolishly gave me his phone number, and I'll be posting it here, on Talkbass, and on every truckstop men's room wall between Houston and Dallas.

And yes, some call me the Gangster of Love (on other forums). No Maurice for me though.

And Johnny Guitar Watson was the Gangster along time before that other guy.
