I think it might be. They've been in customers' hands for at least a week and I haven't seen a used one for sale yet. That must be the record.

FWIW, I briefly tried selling my DD SR5HH before it even got here, with an eye toward ordering a 20th SR5 instead on account of the Alnico pickups/tone block. I REALLY want those Alnico pickups . . . :(

However, it wasn't (still isn't) in my hands yet, and my wonderful wife informed me that I was being a fool. It's not for sale any more. :D

I'm pretty sure had I kept the sale ad up, it would have been taken down shortly after the Dargie arrived. :)

Now to figure out how in the hell I can justify owning both before the order window closes on the 20th SR5s. Suggestions anyone? ;)

id say theyre the best ever due to their "story"... how the whole thing came to be is completely unique and awesome.

I think for us, the Forumites, the DD Martini Motif might be the coolest thing ever, but others (non-Forumites) might not have the same appreciation for them that we do.

And there are some very nice LE models. (But ours IS best.)

I'd been on the EBMM site many times, but the DD fiasco is what lead me to this forum, even though it was a few months after it all went down

Good point. My 30th says all kinds of stuff, mostly with its chest all puffed out. "Yeah? Bring me a P bass for breakfast! I have chunks of Warwicks in my stool!"

Things like that.

Hell, who can really say which is the best Ltd Edition so far? Come to think of it, that Envy Green was mighty fine, too.

I'd vote for the Dargie, of course, all things considered....but why choose?

The destiny of Heinz is still open to debate.

He's in the closet and I think he knows there's another SR5 out here. I hear murmuring....maybe the 30th SR4 told him.

Stupid boy.

Wow. Thanks for the helpful, supportive comment!

Would you just SHUT UP about the 20th SR5?

Okay, not really.

You know what I mean.

Hey, the moment I figure out how I can swing it without triggering a divorce, I'll shut my pie hole. Hopefully the arrival of the DD will stem the GAS for a while. I've gone SIX WHOLE MONTHS without owning an EBMM, and I need my fix, Jack!!!
