Anybody know the leadtime on the Dargie Green run? The country/state I'll be living in at the time will be the major factor in which dealer I order from.

Mark,

there was talk of delivering them at Jack's Shindig. Under this assumption, they should be ready by Nov. 2. Unsure if this is still the plan or even possible this close to the date. But then again, BP and crew don't seem to have the word impossible in their vocabulary.

Your time in Jakarta drawing to a close soon Mark?

Yep, it's looking like the particular issues I was brought here to troubleshoot will be all sorted within the next 6 months, so I'm outta here in the forseeable future. I'm still waiting for the Company to put next job options on the table, but somewhere back in Oz, or maybe the US are the most likely destinations.

I'd estimate my chances of ending up in the US at present would be roughly 5-10%. It depends on where they might think I can best slot in, and where there are business needs etc. We do have a plant in Paris, Texass, but on the slim chance that I do end up being shipped to the US, it would probably be more likely to be NJ, NY or CT.

Of course, the company may decide that there is no job for me anywhere, even in Australia, in which case they'll give me a wheelbarrow full of cash and tell me to fug off. That's always a risk of taking an international assignment, since the job you were doing doesn't stay vacant while you're overseas. I'm hoping to find out something more concrete when I'm back in Oz on home leave during August.
