Help! Dargie Delight Luke... where to buy it??

Hello everyone!
This is Gio, italian guitarist!
This is my very first one post here!

I have a question : where can i buy the wonderful MusicMan Luke dargie Delight?

I live in Italy and i don't know where can i buy that "dream"!!
i know that some one in France is selling the dargie but i need more info!

does anybody know some link about the Dargie?

Hey Gio,

Welcome to the forums. The Dargie Delights are no longer in production. You're more than likely going to have to try and find one used somewhere. If they will ship it to you, you might want to grab the one in France.

As I understand it, these five DD Lukes were "fully loaded", but there were another 30 or so made without some/all options like piezo or matching headstock etc, plus a couple of left-hand models. Hmmm. That doesn't make things much better, does it?

I suggest you keep an eye on the Guitars for Sale thread. Chances are some of those Dargie Lukes are still owned by forum members, and may come up for sale. Eventually. Good luck in your search!

Just do a search on Yahoo "Dargie delight " and the guitar store in France will pop up.Last time I checked they still had 2 for sale , but they were not cheap.

I have one of the famous 5 - but it's not for sale sorry!
There is a non-piezo one for sale in a french music store, but I don't know the name, sorry I can't be of much help.

There were two new ones in France (the last new ones left worldwide I believe), though one was subsequently bought by a guy in Canada based on this info. Here's a link to the original thread and my post with the links:

If these leads don't turn up the goods then finding a Dargie Luke is going to be a very difficult task. I love mine so they are worth searching for!

I sold mine to a guy in France just about a year ago, but it wasn't a fully loaded one.

Pierre, none of the Dargie Delights are numbered that way.

Pierre, no they were not sold by Music Man, they were made by another company. A forum member had it made up and other followed suit. Pete Dubaldo sold me mine, he might have the contact info or have 1.
