Dargie Delight MM Bongo 5HH GOING MEGA CHEAP!!!

I was at LBGS yesterday, and once I'd finished up there I jumped on the tube down to piccadilly and went into soho, to go to denmark street to check out the delights on offer. I saw many Stingrays on sale, thousands of strats etc, but two basses really caught my eye yesterday. One of them was a Squire Fretless Jazz in sunburst, for £250 that played like butter. Great bass, but that's for another time. The other was, as the title suggests, a MM Bongo 5HH in Dargie Delight. I don't like 5 strings personally so I didn't pay much attention, until I saw the price.

£1059! In a full MM flightcase! Thought this was practically giving it away, I got the guy to take it out the window so I could have a look, and trust me its in immacculate condtion, absolutely spotless, as if never played. I didn't give it a play, because as I said I'm not find of 5ers, but she looked very well setup and the strings felt new and unplayed.

Now forgive me for my ignorance, but isn't that absolutely mega cheap? Letalone for a Dargie but for a Bongo 5HH? And in that sort of condition you'd be mad not to. Thought I'd put a post up so that anyone interested can possibly go take a look at her. If she was a 4er, and I was older than I am with a full time job, I wouldve snapped her up there and then, she's a beaut. Would be great for someone in the forum to grab it!

Fantastic bass and that price is ridiculously cheap. I absolutely love my DD2 Bongo 4HHp.

Do you remember what shop it was, or roughly where that shop was in relation to some other shops in Denmark St?

Can't remember exactly, but I know if your facing over towards Saint Giles High Street, as if you turned into Denmark Street from Charing Cross Road, its in one of the shops on the left hand side of the road. Think its just over the road opposite the vintage drums shop, but don't quote me on that! She's in the window, you can't miss it. Would be great for you to snatch her up, like I say she's in brand new condition, a beaut!

Yeah, it's kinda dangerous to visit shows like that, and then even going to Denmark St!
Although I suppose it's even more dangerous going there with money.
