Maybe it's because that bass is currently in my lap as I feverishly learn an hour's worth of Hendrix tunes for a late night gig tonight, but the tort makes the Bongo look like it has a hairy chest.

It also is confused because it knows it's never worn a tort guard and yet sees it on the screen. What can I say? The single H sounds good, but it is point-and-click simple. :D

I didn't know whether it would work, but I like it...

Now if there was just a real chrome pickguard available made from the same material as the control plate of the StingRay... I've seen one installed on a bass at eBay and it looks great. However, the seller didn't respond to my inquiry...

oli@bass--that looks great on that Stingray.

Honestly, I think it works better on an SR4 than it would on a Sterling, Bongo, or SR5 because of the chrome control plate.

Good looking bass!

I put white pearl on everything, so I'm the wrong guy to ask... :)

Had to pass on the dream of owning a DD Bongo 5HH, but my plan was to have someone airbrush a pickguard to look like a big olive (same color as the bass, but shaded to make it stand out) with a pimento sticking out of it. :D
