I always thought that this was a thread where you could post your serial number in the event of the guitar being stolen?

Infact I've just gone to the first post on the sticky and it says this ... ...


Let's consider this a "requirement" for this board; if you're a current member, post your serials in the format I give of mine. New members will add to the list as they join. Put DOB requests in a separate thread, as they will come and go, but do make sure that you have your serial in here, which will serve as the forum's master record. I'd like to have one single thread where someone could come and search for their serial should the unthinkable happen to them. I'll start with my own below.

Interesting. It may have started that way, but seems to me that the S/N thread always gets a response, whereas individual threads often go unnoticed. Just an observation.

Well I will go ahead and answer on this thread. Beej is right though, a lot of times the individual threads get lost, especially if they are posted on the weekend when we are not working and don't have access to the s/n database. To be honest, I've never even read that first post that Spud quoted
