OK, Now I'm a little confused but I think Mar/01 is correct.Would you guys be leary of a new guitar that has hung in a store for 4 years??

Pick, nope my AL was at Guitar Center for 3.5 years. As were both of my Axes (thank you Jimi D) they were hanging around for at least 2. NOS is a sweet way to get a EBMM at a pretty good deal.

Careful? Sure.

The thing about EBMM is even if they hang that long in a music store, it's not because people play them a whole lot and abuse them, then decide not to buy them.

More likely that people don't even try it. They go straight for ibanez, gibby, fender, prs.

Still, it will likely need to be cleaned up and set up and for sure new strings, even though eb sends employess out to the stores to do this periodically, I'm not sure if they do it for ALL retail stores all over the country.
