Dating An Axis Sport

Since I'm New To The Eb Forum, I'd Like To Say "rock On". I Have A Serious Question Though, What Is The History, Date Etc. Of An Axis Sport Model Ser.#A92999? I Heard That It's One Of The Earlier Models. Is This True? And How Does Ebmm Date Their Axe's? Can't Wait To Hear From You, Talk To You Soon....

The Axis Sport is a discontined model. They ran approximately from 1998'ish until 2000'ish if memory serves me right.

As for dating a EBMM, there is no ryhme or reason, you need to post the serial number in a DOB thread and someone from EBMM will be happy to look it up for you.

Hi Axis Maxis,

Welcome to the forum!

Your Axis Sport in red with HSS pickup configuration and standard bridge with a maple neck was born on 1 December 1997 in the factory in San Luis Obispo, CA and was originally sold to Guitar Center in San Jose, CA.

The Axis Sport was started in 1997 and was discontinued in May 2002.
