Trolling the net the other day trying to gauge pre owned values on various brands incl Music Man guitars i was struck by the similarities between the Pre CBS Fenders and Pre EB Music Man comparative pricing, Whereas CBS manufactured instruments suffered a perceived lack of quality control and therefore made them less desirable then why is this happening to the MM brand ? There is no doubt in my mind that EBMM did not make instruments that followed the CBS model of Higher output/Lower quality...But Leo seems to have unconsciously left this legacy wherever he went... No doubt in the near future this will happen over at G&L as well ? I cannot think of any other brands Gibson, etc etc that have followed a similar pattern ?

Are these the prices they are selling for, or the prices they are asking? I hate to tell a lot of these people but just because something is over 20 years old, that doesn't make it "vintage". There are plenty of cars from the early 80s (now over 25 years old) that people would most likely not want to own. Like a 1981 ford mustang.

No doubt!! There are plenty of cars from the early 80's that people would most likely call "junk"!! I won't name them but one of them ends in Z28. lol
