Sadly, these are the best shots of my new DD AL from the show.....

I only used it for the opening two songs and, whilst there were lots of pics taken during those songs, I seemed to constantly miss being in a good line-of-sight with the photographer. That was until the first guitar change....of freakin' course!!!!

Anyway, here they are:

Eric Martin has one of the best rock voices I ever heard. Saw Mr' Big in 1994 I think down in Leeds. What a tight unit. Not one of those guys I don't love hearing!

Eric is hitting our shores soon. Does he just use local musicians in each country?

He has a touring line up but, as and when it's convenient to do so, will use a locally selected band instead. This event was a one-off concert for charity so it made much more sense to use us in this case. BTW...even though he's not in either pic.....your local neighborhood psychicpet was handling the "low-end" for the night! Our whacky improv band "Combustible Jimmy" was also on the bill so Eric's band was basically 3/4 of Combustible. So, yeah, Pete & I were pretty much ''stage hogs" that night!!! ;)

The other guitarist was our 'guest artist' for the show....none other than Dario Lorina who plays guitar for Jani Lane (Warrant)! He's a super nice guy, cool player...and 17 years old!!!!

AL looks amazing!!

It was all Mr.Big tunes for this show!!!

I used the AL for "Daddy, Brother, Lover, Little Boy" and "Alive And Kicking"....my floating trem guitars not being appropriate for the double-stop bends etc in that song! The AL was a delight to play and did me proud even though I had only had it for just a week when we did this show!

It was a great honour to play with such a pleasant and naturally talented guy!!! The whole experience was an absolute blast from start to finish! He's so bloody funny too.....awesome sense of humour!!! :D

Steve.

P.S. Here's the event poster:

Ahh, yes. Thanks Monty. I do remember reading up on him not to long ago. Think it was in Guitar World or another magazine. Gonna google his name try to get some more info.

Thanks again.

Yeah I know, Beth.....but there just wasn't a Floating Floyd option available on the AL so the IBZs had to tag along too!!!! ;)

...and....before Pete suggests it....I'm not taking my router to my DD!!!!

Now, if I could just find a supply of inexpensive used ALs........Muwahahahaha!!! :D

It is a veritable honour to be able to own such a fab EBMM and it never fails to attract ample attention wherever I go with it...thanks again you Doods!!!!

Steve.
