Here`s the story : found the Dargie Delight Luke 2 , natty headstock , piezo , martini inlays . Seller says it has been refretted , but besides that 100 % original . The price is kinda acceptable too.
Obviously the DD run was limited , so every piece is quite rare , but how about the configuration mentoned above ? How many of these were made ?
Remember the Smelly had one for sale many moons ago and that was the only one I have seen .
Thanks for all the input guys .

Pete DuBaldo has posted a list of the original run configurations and quantities before...

Hopefully he'll chime in, or you can find it via search here...

This was the one and only time EBMM has ever released a production list.

Whoa Whoa Whoa!
Let's not get caught up in the moment and lose our minds here

Thanks Keith , always happy to hear from the guy with such a knowledge....

Back to the topic , here`s what I received from Joel :
This Luke with piezo was completed on March 26th, 2007. The color is Martini Olive Green (Dargie Delight) with the Rosewood fretboard & matching headstock. This was a limited run that featured the Martini glass inlays & Dargie Delight Silk Screen under the neck plate. This one was originally shipped to Music Info.

So , the major bummer is that the one I`m GASing has natty headstock ... waiting to hear from the seller ...

You're killing me, man - he hasn't been here long enough to know that I'm a long-haired 70s throwback! :)

Yeah, we need to see pics... Can't have the martini glass inlays with natural headstock... Well, unless he had them done custom (which I've done to get the 12th-fret BFR inlay).

Holding my breath here in the cornfields... :)

All and all , thanks for all the help you guys , due to some "neck" problems my deal is suspended for a while - will post news if things will be cleared ( or not ) ;)

Did he send you a pic of the whole guitar? The only pic of the front of the headstock doesnt show the Martini inlays. If you decide to not buy it, but the 'neck problems ' arent too severe, I might be VERY interested. My Polish isnt what it used to be though. Keep us (and me ;)) posted!

I'd be interested to see the inlay in the first fret - the original Dargie run had a green olive in that martini glass...

That's a rare guitar! I have one of the 5 w/ piezo.

It was available with/without matching headstock.
