Thanks for sharing the link Rod. Interesting reading. The scientific view of the problem we all have encoubntered. It seems to support the idea that a stable neck is fundamental to mitigate the dead/hot spot problem. It can be done by using superb neck wood like in the Musicmans, or by laminating pieces of wood or by giving less than perfect wood the necessary support from graphite...
