I saw this one yesterday and though it might be worth bidding on as I only saw the headstock photo and as everyone knows T-Purple is probably the hardest one to find holding most of its color as the fading seemed to effect them the most. I almost fell off my chair though after seeing that butcher job. Wonder if he played in the same band as the guy who destroyed the Silo.Just a real shame.

I'll admit my purple EVH has a lot of wear and tear, dings, scratches, discolored trem and it's faded like no other---but what that guy did, Christ almighty!

Sheesh. It's apparently Butcher an EBMM day on eBay. There are plenty of us out there who would give these guitars a good home in their original condition. :(

+1 marantz

I agree it's a shame that somebody would do that to a perfectly good high end guitar, or not at least do a better job but, lets face it, it's not gonna be collectors bidding on this one.

Somebody out there won't care about the "customisation". They'll buy the guitar at a price they were happy to pay, it'll play great and it'll STILL be a '93 trans purple EVH, even if it is a little beaten, worn, and butchered. The birdseye on that neck looks gorgeous to boot!
