Hi guys,

In the best interest of everyone here and especially Steve Morse, himself, I nuked the Steve Morse vid thread. Yeah, I loved the vid and loved sharing it. But Bravo Victor hit a chord with me when he was speaking of copyright stuff. I got to thinking of how Steve Morse, as well as other pro musicians, make their living.

I wanted to do what I considered to be the right thing and delete the thread. Again, I didn't mean to do anything abusive to the forum or Steve Morse's character. No exploitation was meant on my part.

Cheers,

You won´t regret. It´s great, especially the extensive interview where Steve also talks about his guitar and playing style

Well...I know Bravo Victor (thanks to Sterlings first open house) and consider him a good friend (had dinner with him this past weekend moments after my car died and he helped push it up a hill and gave us a ride back home...after way too many cocktails Bob ;)) and our mutual love of Steve Morse goes back almost 30 years of concertgoing, record buying, dvd buying etc...

And I can't speak for Steve who may be very sensitive to this kind of thing, but if a video like the one posted gets people to see Steve at his best in a way they haven't seen him before, I think they'd be more likely to WANT to see him in concert and buy some long ago recorded stuff DVD or audio maybe even those available at the concert they see him at.

Some guitarists have to be SEEN to be believed.
Steve is one of them. Just a magic show going on with all he's coaxing out of his instrument.

Maybe Tommyindeleware can chime in for some perspective??

Thanks Keith; I think that's an interesting perspective. Yes, I will buy the DVD since viewing the vids on youtube; but I'm still glad I deleted the thread.
