I'm afraid to say I cannot afford to live up to society's Stingray standards. I shall forever be doomed to avergage mid-priced basses.

sounds to me like he's got more mental problems than add, it sounds like he's got some chronic schizophrenia going on or whatnot.

It sounds exactly like ADD.

Like I said before, ADD is over-diagnosed, particularly by those who depend on patient/client/customer numbers to make a living.

Having difficulty concentrating in class is not ADD. ADD is a serious and debilitating condition.

It doesn't sound typical of schizophrenia in any way.

it's exactly the way by guitarists brother arthur acted, violent, cocky, with apparent total disregard for others.

he was misdiagnosed as ADD in jr high and parts of high school, but then his mom did more serious tests with better doctors who knew more, and it was found he had chronic schizophrenia, he's recieving disability payments and working part time, and taking his medicine. Schizophrenia is such a broad disease with many variations.

Which is probably why he was diagnosed as ADD.

Schizophrenia isn't typified by violent behaviour. A small subsection of schizophrenics do display violent behaviour, but the vast majority don't and are unfairly stigmatised by the way they're portrayed in the media.
