I keep hearing reports that there are Bongos out there.

That people have seen them, touched them, PLAYED THEM.

My little tiny hometown dealer certainly doesn't have them.

Musician's Fiend says they'll have them in December.

I don't want to wait until December, Derek. Don't tell me I have to wait until December.

You've seen my EBMM collection as it grows and shrinks and changes and improves.

You've heard me defend the styling of the Bongo when others were derogatory.

I need a Bongo, Derek. Where is my Bongo? I want my Bongo, man.

Jack,

Just got word that we have been shipping the first 4 string Bongos out the door this week. We will be shipping the very first production Bongo 5's the week after next. The Stores that will be receiving them are the one who placed their orders first at the winter namm show 2003. As weeks go by we will be getting more basses out the door and soon you will be thumping on a Bongo asking yourself where has this bass been all of my life?

I have a goal. My goal is to be the first person in San Antonio to have a Bongo Bass.

Can you see it?

"Out of my way, common peasants! I have a Bongo! Behold!"

I'm going to say "Behold!" a lot when I have a Bongo. And I think I have a line on one...just gotta decide on four or five string model......

...I hope to have it before the month of October is done!

LOL Jack...great diagnosis. :p Try not to spear too many people with the mighty Bongo, huh?

Then again, I guess that'd be the reason for the cry of "Behold!", pretty much to scare the living crap out of them and warn them to clear out. ;)
