In light of baby Phrat's arrival in June, I got a little Sony Camcorder and a DVD burner for my Macbook (which doesnt have one). In fact right now I am practicing using iMovie and have just almost completed my first edited movie only to have iMovie crash before i had saved it :mad: My bag!

Also got the Blade Runner box set and Transformers, neither of which i have watched yet but tomorrow will be dedicated to making sure I do :)

Nice one Fred - I'm lusting after one of those BB pedals - I'm just waiting for the BB plus to hit the streets.

The sweep picking and Steve Vai DVD's I got were Licklibrary.- as was a Stereophonics DVD my son had.

Any problems lon the licklibrary DVD's let me know - I could get them over here and mail them to ya. - I guess that they would have a US distribution franchise though?

Nice one on the 20th White strat - have we seen pics of it yet?

Yup... see the "I'm an alien" thread and the "How many 20ths are frum owned" threads...

That's just scientifically impossible...;)

A guitarist's need for equipment increases exponentially with his age...

Code:
eN = Equipment need
A  = Age
G = GAS-factor, which recent studies show to be a constant amongst guitarists

[b]eN=(AG)^2[/b]

It's only logical that you will want another guitar next year...possibly even sooner.

I totally agree with ya, I just love spending time with the family at Christmas.
We've(The Murfs) always celebrated Christmas big time ever since the days when my Dad wasn't happy, until on Christmas Eve he had just about "spent out", had a couple of quid tucked in his back pocket, to have a pint on Boxing day and a bet on the horses - one of the few times he gambled.

I don't like the outrageous spending habits of some (unless of course you have outrageous income to support) who just seem to go over the top at this time of year. - personally if I get a couple of DVD's,books and a box of Toblerone chocolate, - then I'm happy.

I just love Christmas - love it, love it love it

it would go against the prime directive of the ALOC if i didnt give the mighty AL a mention here.....try one and be hooked!

I must 2nd that notion Rob, as a ambassador of the ALOC it is a must to at least spend an hour with a Al. any config any color. It's spiritual.

I didn't get any EBMM's on Christmas Day but I believe Santa may be delivering mine from the North Pole any day now. (When I say Santa, I really mean Pete. When I say the North Pole, I really mean DuBaldo Music!)
