So my wife is watching CMT and their showing the 20 greatest moments of Alabama. I sat down and watched some of it and noticed just about all the equipment they were using looked like pre EB MM gear. MM SR, SR guitar and even what appeared to be a double necked SR guitar, as well as all MM amps. Did they have an endorsement deal in the early 80's or did they just really really like MM gear?

Sorry but a scene consisting of Bear Bryant out on the 50 yard line yelling Roll Tide while holding a SR is playing in my brain right now.

in the least, bump.

Nothing with the words roll tide is appealing to me.

You know what's funny, and I can say this as a graduate of the University of Alabama, if you blindfold a person and take him to the middle of either campus, he couldn't tell you if he were on the Alabama or Auburn campus. btw, Roll Tide :)

Alabama was a favorite of Tommy Walker's and they got carte blanche

Thanks BP, I know Ive never seen so much MM gear at one time on a stage. I didnt know a Double necked Stingray guitar even ever existed (thats what it looked like anyway).
