It could be that you are not posting the full url.
When I post the url from my photobucket account, to display a photo in one of my posts,I press the shift button and end, that way you highlight the whole URL and not just a part of it.

Photobucket has a great feature. Your image on there has a URL, a tag, and an IMG code.

If you copy and paste the IMG code, your image will show up easily. You won't have the hit the "Add Image" link when you create your message.

The other easy answer is to do this

I don't see an IMG code on photobucket page, just an html tag and url link.

under your photos, there should be three yellow boxes

URL link
HTML tag
IMG code

If you're looking at your pics individually, the box with those options will be beside the picture, or just below it.

All you have to do is copy and paste the IMG code. cuts out alot of extra steps.

Thanks, Tony, but on my photobucket page boxes:

URL link - Yes
HTML tag - Yes
IMG code - No

Just to confirm what Tony is saying.

From my photobucket account I select the IMG code.
To ensure that I "select" the whole of the IMG code I Click on it (turning it blue)
then I press the SHIFT]key and the END key to ensure that the full IMG code is actually selected (you will only see what I mean by trying it) Then the CTRL key and C to "copy" the URL code selected.
Here's a picture showing what I mean

Once you have copied the IMG code into the body of your post you get the picture you want to display

Hope this helps.

No IMG code showing, Spud. When I get a chance I'll check user options. Maybe there's a way to turn that feature on.

Thanks Spud, that helps alot.
That's Cool dfrady - glad to be off help.

Candid - I see what your problem is.

Log into photobucket. from the Welcome screen
select Account options from the top
then Album settings
then (Edit my album settings)
from the displayed screen ensure that there is a tick in the
Display IMG for bulletin boards and forums box

like so

Spud, I appreciate your help. However, my account options do not offer the IMG option. Here's all it shows or allows:

"Show me these copy/paste links: URL, Tags"

Mine is a free account. Wonder if that has anything to do with it. It's ok though, I can use the "insert image" feature now.

Thanks, my friend.

On that screen which says "Show me these copy/paste links: URL, Tags"
just above it should say
Album Settings (edit my album settings)
If you click on the (edit my album settings) then you should be able to set the tick I mentioned in my last post, then you should be ready to rock!

My account is a free one, too.

Good luck.

Baddabing Baddaboom! That did it. :)

Tony, currently I'm using Firefox. If Spud's suggestion didn't work I was going to open IE.

Thanks bros
