Question Difference between PDN, BFR, and LE?

Just wondering what the difference is between the PDN, BFR and LE special editions of the basses.

I think I have a handle of the PDN, seems to be a special edition that comes out yearly only available through certain dealers.

How often are the Ball Family Reserves and Limited Editions available?

Is there anything specific that makes a bass fall into one of these categories or the other?

Thanks

It's just terminology, but the concept is the same in each case: EBMM offers something you typically can't get on a production model, but only for a limited time. They used to release Limited Edition models roughly once a year, in a cool color with other special features. They did blue dawn one year, and a root-beer brown one year (can't remember the official name of the color). The Ball Family Reserve models were special edition instruments that would come out occasionally, they could be one-offs or limited releases like the black sugar/ebony board package from a few years ago. PDNs are basically the current version of the LE, same concept (usually a one-month order window, special package of features).
