Hello all!
I'm not often visitting this forum but it's really great to be a part of this and have a chance to communicate with people who like the same things that I do))

I've never had any problems with my Silhouette Special Piezo SSS but now I seem to have one. But I'm not sure thouhg. The thing is that I've noticed a difference in sound which is taken from different outputs of the guitar. The sound of magnetic pickups which is going through magnetic/stereo output differs from the one through piezo/mono output (piezo volume all the way down). The sound from magnetic output is a bit weaker and thinner and at the same time is not as clear as from the other output. Does that seem to be a problem or that is how it has got to be? Battery is full. Frankly speaking Im not good at electronics but I trust my ears ))) thanks in advance for any help :)

it is normal. on my JPs it is just the same.
i prefer the stereo-output jack, to me it sounds more "natural", like a guitar with only mag. PUPs.
maybe it´s due to the active electronic the mags run through while using the mono output. i think the mags get buffered or something like that, to match the piezo signal.
btw. afaik, John Petrucci prefers the stereo-out as well.

joe web, thanks a lot for the answer! Now I feel that everything is just fine)) I think you're right about the reasons. Its definitely because of the mags get buffered! Now I get why my doubble muff makes so much noise while receiving signal from mono output - it just feels the active signal ))
