OK I'm trying to open up my whammy pedal, I need to check why at times the signal gets interrupted. I got the screws off and I can lift the top up slightly, but I can't open it up completely...HELP!

I had all kinds of problems with the thing. If you have the one with MIDI control, you have to take those screws out. Once that is done the only thing that should be holding it together will be the power input jack. As you try to open it, you have the push the jacks in so the can will slide out over it. That's what I can remember about cracking that nut. It was a pain in the arse figuring it out.
