Help! Dimarzio D100

Dimarzio DP100

So i was rummaging through a box of old gear and found a Dimarzio DP100 with what appears to be a handwritten tag... does anyone know what this is and what it would sound like? My guess is i picked it up from my uncle who would have bought it in the mid 80s...
would be curious as to how it would sound in my Silo...

A DP 100 is a super distortion pickup still available today, you must have a NOS one.

I've got a few of them in guitars I use with a cover band. They are good pickups for classic hard rock.

i've been using one in the neck positon of my HH AL, with a series/parallel switch. i love it. really gritty and cleans up nice if you roll off the volume a touch. give it a shot, drop it in...

Absolute "great" pickup!!!!

However, it is very dark, so if you decide you need to "come out of the cave", just pop in a Norton - and then there was light!!
