DiMarzio PAF's?

OK ... so I'm looking seriously at a EB/MM Silhouette. My local store tells me they can order me one the way I want it set up (i.e. Candy Red, white pearloid pickguard, rosewood board, trem) for about $1175.

What are your expert opinions on the DiMarzio PAF's that come stock in it?

I've heard some comments before about DiMarzio pickups being kind of sterile sounding.

I'd be interested to hear what the Forum's Silhouette owners think of the DiMarzios.

I know that Norm put in EMG's in his silo.

Also, head over to www.harmony-central.com and read the reviews of the silo. Chances are you'll read about 20 reviews of silo owners opinions and be able to help with any final decision.

Mine had been sitting in the closet, I was going to sell it. I got it out & found I really liked the DiMarzio PAF. It's not an overly hot chunk monkey, but it's not an annoyingly bright vintage clone either...somewhere in between.
